ABS Investment Management LLC ("ABS") is an independent fund of hedge funds manager
specializing in equity long/short strategies. The firm began operations in the fall
of 2002 and is based in Greenwich, CT. The Principals - Alain De Coster, Laurence Russian
and Guilherme Valle - have worked together investing in hedge funds in a similar function
since 1994. ABS was established to create and be recognized as one of the highest
quality franchises in equity long/short investing. To achieve this goal, our single focus
is to generate excellent risk/reward returns for our clients while providing them with
first class client service.
Prior to starting ABS, the principals worked at Garantia, Inc. (a Brazilian investment bank)
and Credit Suisse Asset Management managing over $3.4 Billion of hedge fund assets. Today,
ABS manages over $3.7 Billion of hedge fund assets primarily utilizing equity long/short strategies.

ABS is currently comprised of twenty-five employees.
Twelve employees are dedicated to investments (research, portfolio management and risk management).
Four employees focus on operational due diligence. Five employees are dedicated to client service and business development.
Three employees are dedicated to fund accounting.
One employee maintains our office management and administration.
